Today’s first activity is town trekking, after briefing and distributed breakfast, the participants depart to Malacca around 8am. After all the participants left the camp site, it’s my time to have a sleep. Sleep from 8am until 12pm. After wake up, they say want to go out and buy Macdonald as our lunch. So I also follow and eat Macdonald as my lunch.
After lunch, we start to survey the place for station games. After that, we just stay in the camp site and waiting all the participants back to camp site. Because of we required them to report themselves every one hour, and we realize that their performance is quite good and therefore we decided to buy something for tea time. Then, we go to MyDin and buy something for them.
About 5pm, all the groups were back to the camp site and reporting the fund they get it. Wow!! They collect around RM2600, really out of expectation!! Although the result is good, but there’s some different opinion on how to use the money and some of the group are very care on who are the winner. After this activity, I just realize how she is thinking. Just realize actually I am not understand her. Say one thing and do another thing. Keep on saying that the objective of this activity was not archived, but end up her group also do the same way and she is the person who care the most if her group is the winner or not.
We took our group picture at 5.50pm with our camp T-shirt. At that moment, feels so happy that we really can bring that much participants to join this camp. Congratulation to all of us.
6pm, our station was started. At first I am the only runner for station games, but in the end Ang and CK scare I can’t make it so they also be the runner. Due to we have only 4 station, so I being allocated to take care of one of the station. Oh no, it’s so boring, after two teams play at that station, I decided to walk around but have to rush back after 15minutes to remind them times up. The station game is quite good, the only weakness is the games is too easy, participants is too clever and finished the games within 20minutes.
7.30pm we end our station game and having our dinner. After dinner, is our movie session. Since we already watch the movie twice, so we all committees arrange puzzle at the other site. Movie session ends around 11pm, after sharing and it’s our jungle trekking time.
Jungle trekking?? Sound like should be very scary, but end up, it’s just bring us one round in the road at night time. Omg, this kind of activities they dare to ask RM 300 fee?? Apart from that, they are not taking care of our participant, one group was lost during the walk and luckily they met police and police bring them back. After began with the coach, in the end they agree to less 50% to us. But still it is not worth at all. And we receive many complaints from the participants.
At that night, suppose I have to be the night watcher with Yi Siang from 2am to 4am. But Shirleen and Xiao Yang din wake up to take shift. What the hell!! As a DOD and new treasurer, how come they can do like that?? Since there’s nothing to do at that night, me and Yi Siang starting to keep all the stuff and make sure everything still the same as the first day. At that moment I just realize that food department also the same. Did not done their job straight away go to sleep. In the end, I am the one who need to help them wash the entire utensil and also lap the table.
That night is really tired, I fall asleep at 6.30am but wake up again at 7am to wake facilitator and participant up.
